Won't charge
The phone doesn't respond to the charger or only charges at a certain angle.
Loose port
The cable wobbles, slips out easily and doesn't make stable contact with the port.
Slow charging
Charges slowly, cuts out or stops halfway for no obvious reason.
Heats up when charging
The port or cable gets unusually warm during charging.
Doesn't recognise the cable
It shows "accessory not supported" or doesn't detect the charger at all.
Moisture or oxidation
Dust, moisture or oxidation in the port prevents reliable contact.
